Three expatriate Bangladeshi workers killed in an explosion in Malaysia were buried in their hometown Munshiganj after prayer janazah.

Scores of people attended the three workers’ janaza held at their ancestral home in Ramjanbeg area of ​​Munshiganj Municipality today (October 20) around 8 am.

They were later buried at Ramjanbeg Dakshin Para Cemetery.

The families of the victims are deeply saddened by the sudden death of the three workers.

Three workers were seriously burned in an explosion at several chemical plants in the SILC industrial zone in the Malaysian state of Johor.

Jabbar Ali, one of the victims, died on Friday (October 18). Abu Taher died on Saturday and Salam on Sunday.

Local residents called on the government to provide compensation and repatriation to the families of the victims.
