BMS executives handed over a check of Rs 2.45 lakh to the family members of the deceased employee

Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Vizianagaram District President N.A. Raju and other leaders on Saturday handed over a check worth Rs 2.45 lakh to the family members of a deceased contract worker of a private company. Contract laborer Bammidi Kanakaraju recently died after he accidentally fell into a tank in Pusapatirega Mandal of Vizianagaram district.

At a meeting organized at Gaitula Chodavaram village in the mandal, he said small donations from employees and workers would be a big help to the family members of the deceased workers. He asked the workers to reach home carefully after finishing their night duty. He called on the Ministry of Labor to provide immediate assistance to those families whose workers were injured or killed in accidents.
